Watering your lawn.
Summer is in full force in Minnesota, and there has not been a lot of rain lately. As a homeowner, you need to think about watering your lawn and your plants and trees. The best time to water is in the evening when the sun has set. If you water in the middle of the day most of the water will get evaporated before it does the ground any good. If you water at night the water can stay on the grass, trees and plants and be used, not just get evaporated. It is also a good idea to create a moat around any trees. This will allow the water to stay close to the trunk of the tree, and not just flow away. Make sure you water at the base of the tree, so the water can go through the root system of the tree.
