When you are selling your home, you need to make sure that your home is clean and shows well.  This might seem like an obvious thing to do, but I have been through many homes that are not clean.  You want to make sure that people fall in love with your home the first time that they tour your home.  If your home is messy potential buyers will focus on the mess, not all of the good things that your home has to offer.

Even though you might say that buyers will know that you are moving so they should be able to look through the mess, this is not always true.  Sometimes buyers have a hard time envisioning what a homes potential is.  They need to see the finished product with their own eyes.  Especially with so many homes on the market, you need to make sure that your home shows the best.  Make sure that people are excited about your home.

It can be a pain to always make sure your home is clean.  You nned to make sure it is clean, you never know when the perfect buyer will come and tour your home.  Do not take any showing lightly.
