The media plays a big role in today’s society.  Same is true with the housing market.  It seems like every time you turn on the television or read the newspaper they are talking about the housing market being bad.  Forclosures actually went down by 10% from October 07 to November 07.  There is approximately 1 forclosure filing for every 617 households.  That is a national average.  Some areas are higher and others are lower.

It is true that it is a great buyers market.  However, homes are still selling for good prices.  I just took part in a multiple offer situation.  The holidays also create a slow time in the housing market.  Once the snow melts there will be more buyers in the market, and homes will start selling again.  It just takes time.
